Verona Home Sales Statistics – March 2016
We’ve entered the busy season in real estate as you can tell by the uptick in sales for March. However, the closings in March aren’t a full indicator of how active things are right now. The fact that there are 35 homes in Verona currently under contract (almost twice what closed last month) tells you how active the market has become again.
Many homes have even had competing offers. In March we put 7 homes under contract and 5 of those had multiple offers. We also closed on 7 properties in March and 4 of those had multiple offers. Buyer’s are out in full force, and sellers are starting to take advantage of that. Inventory is up a bit to 4.7 months and home prices are also up.
Cathedral Point remains the most active neighborhood with all the construction going on and 6 houses closed there in March, and the runner up was Westridge with 4 March closings. These two neighborhoods also have the most active listings right now with 9 in Cathedral Point and 4 in Westridge.
