April 16th, 2012 by keithandkinseyPrices are still low and so are interest rates, but sales in the Madison area are up for 9 months straight! This is a definite sign of improvement in the real estate market. The amount of action we’ve seen in the past 6 weeks has been incredible. We’ve seen several multiple offer situations, we’ve put a record number of homes under contract, and homes that have been sitting for months are now moving. It will be exciting to see what happens in the coming months. Based on the amount of activity, I would be surprised if the number of closings in May, June, and July wasn’t a huge improvement over the last couple of years.
