Verona Home Sales Statistics – December 2015
We’ve entered what typically is the slow season for real estate sales, and it shows by the stats here in Verona. Sales were down as compared to the same time-frame last year. Although, the signs are still looking very positive; the average number of days on market was down, the average price was up, and the average list price to sale price ratio was a very strong 99%.
In the last 2 weeks our team has seen a flurry of activity among buyers (more activity than normal this time of year). We have actually written several offers already this January, and put a couple homes under contract. We’ve even seen 2 multiple offer scenarios with both edging above asking price (not an every day occurrence for January). If this is any sign of what is to come, we think it will be a very strong spring.
It actually looks like a great time to sell right now! Homes are still getting offers, and the inventory of houses for sale in Verona has dropped down to 2.8 months (which is incredibly low). This means there aren’t many options out there for buyers who want to be in Verona, and this is what caused the bidding wars I previously mentioned.
